I have spent most waking hours in the garden, digging in the dirt, feeding my plant addiction. It’s been heaven and I know it can’t last forever. Soon I will have to get down to the serious business of finding a job- making money instead of just spending it.

The previous owner created a lovely front yard/ patio area with large flagstones and a green wall! I am so excited and intimidated by this six-foot hedge that I need to learn how to maintain. Never used an electric shear before. The plantings are beautiful and repetitive in the front. I just pulled out some less desirable plants- I think they were sea lavender- and replaced them with purple, orange and black foliage, some of my favorite hues for a garden. We have just had a few days of some good rain and now are entering almost a week of sun and quite warm temperatures, that magic combination for a garden.
